Determining who the best racer at the end of a race is easy -- it's the racer who crossed the finish line first.
Figuring out who the best racer is over the course of a year requires the jetGP.com SUPER CHAMPION OF THE WORLD formula.
Since different competitions/countries score differently, annual competitions carry no points, and number of racers varies, a unified mathematical formula had to be created.
1. Racer receives COMPETITION VALUE for every race they finish, as long as the competition meets the following number of racers criteria:
| Type of competition | Minimum number of racers | COMPETITION VALUE |
| National | 5 | 1 |
| International | 7 | 2 |
| Annual event | 10 | 3 |
2. Racer receives POSITION VALUE for every race they finish, as long as the competition meets the number of racers criteria above:
| position | POSITION VALUE |
| 1 | 100 |
| 2 | 70 |
| 3 | 50 |
| 4 | 40 |
| 5 | 32 |
| 6 | 26 |
| 7 | 21 |
| 8 | 17 |
| 9 | 14 |
| 10 | 12 |
| 11 | 11 |
| 12 | 10 |
| 13 | 9 |
| 14 | 8 |
| 15 | 7 |
| 16 | 6 |
| 17 | 5 |
| 18 | 4 |
| 19 | 3 |
| 20 | 2 |
| Last (regardless of how many racers, as long as more than minimum) | 1 |
3. For every race this year racer competed in we calculate number of points as such:
COMPETITION VALUE x ( ( POSITION VALUE x NUMBER OF RACERS IN RACE ) + HOW MANY RACERS FINISHED BEHIND )
4. Add all of the points for each racer for a final tally of SUPER CHAMPION points.
